Discover a fine first edition, thirty-ninth print paperback of ‘Harry Potter and the Philosopher’s Stone’, published by Bloomsbury in 1997. This rare collectable does not features the young pipe-smoking Dumbledore on the rear cover. This image was changed in later editions to the older version we know and love today.
This early printing uniquely lists “Joanne Rowling” on the copyright page. The publisher later updated this to “J.K. Rowling”, aiming to appeal to a broader audience.
