Here we have a fine first edition copy of ‘Harry Potter and the Philosopher’s Stone’, with rare double wand error. This is a true first edition twenty-fifth print paperback book and was published by Bloomsbury in 1997.
The book is a very very rare first edition early printing with the famous error of the word wand printed twice on page 53. See the photo.
The book also Joanne Rowling on copyright page, this was later updated to read J.K. Rowlng in order to appeal to a wider audience.
The young pipes smoking young Dumbledore appears on the back cover, he was later changed to the older non smoking version we see today.
The book also has an original gold smarties sticker to the front cover.

There are no library stamps, no bookplates and no previous owners’ inscriptions inside the book of any sorts. No under linings, no scribbles and no sketches etc. inside the text as is often seen in other examples. There is no fading along the spine and there are no tears, no heavy scratches or heavy creases.
